I looked at this many places online and the price varied greatly. I actually ordered mine on Amazon through Petco and that listing link is now gone from Amazon. Mine was far cheaper than this current listing so I'd advise googling the name of this coop or seeing if another listing pops up again if you are interested in it.

Positives: It was one of the easiest things I have put together in a VERY long time.

It's quite good looking and we needed that for our urban city coop for our 3 bantam silkies.

It has two nice perches inside.

The upper "closed window" looking area in the picture is actually a nice storage area. If you need more room for more chickens you could actually just put in half the upper floor and have plenty more room. Otherwise it's great to keep extra food, treats, bedding, etc. It goes all the way across as the "second story" of the coop and is accessed only from the outside door you see in the picture.

We purchased this for our small flock of bantams that we somehow ended up buying at Chick Days at the local Tractor Supply. We bought the nest box at the same time.

The item arrived much faster than Amazon predicted - only 3 business days. The outside packaging was durable with no apparent damage. Therefore I was surprised to open the box and find numerous chips, dings and a roof molding broken in 5 pieces. I reported the damage to CSN Stores, and their answer was "I regret hearing that your order arrived to you in less than pristine condition. If you should need anything else do not hesitate to contact us." I suppose I should have stopped right there, repacked everything and had the Fedex guy back to pick it up and returned it for a refund - but the family was really excited about the coop so I kept it.

Assembly was fast and easy. There is a large diagram on the box itself as well as separate instructions. Screws come attached to a card, so it's hard to lose... Read more

I recommend this coop for anyone with a small backyard flock. It was super easy to put together.

I currently have two Easter Eggers and a Buff Orpington in mine. I think it's a little cramped (but then I think about the industrial minimums for laying hens and realize they have a good bit of room in comparison), and certainly wouldn't advise putting any more than three chickens of a large breed in this coop.

We swapped out the latches to make it more difficult for a raccoon to get into the coop.

The coop is moved to a new grassy spot every four-five days. The coop is quite heavy, so you'll need two people to move it. We plan on adding wheels to the bottom to make it easier to move.

I only gave it 4 stars, as the "house" part does not have a door to close in colder weather, and it is difficult to get into to retrieve a bird if you need to.

Before I begin, this device has been functioning wonderfully for my cat for several months. Our cat went from waking us up earlier and earlier every morning to feed to never bothering us about scheduled meals at all. He will still want a snack now and then when we are in the kitchen, which is fine. He's not waking us up. He even seems more secure and less obsessed with what we are eating at dinner time. All in all, a well fed, slim, and happy cat. We've been able to very accurately control his portions and have programmed the device to feed the cat full servings once per day with snacks at six hour intervals. We left the house for five days over the holidays, and the cat didn't starve. A friend stopped by to play with him every night and he was fed and happy each night.

All in all, this product works.

We've gone through two other cat feeders in the past few years, and so far I'm very optimistic about this one! Only been a couple of weeks, but the timer is much easier than any of the others. Glad that I don't have to buy an AC Adapter separately like some other products, although this does have the ability to run on batteries as well (and I have batteries installed as a back-up). We've had issues in the past because our cat food kibble is small, and it inevitably causes whatever feeding mechanism we had (auger and flip-style units previously) to jam. It is still early days, but so far it is working wonderfully! Will try to update again once we've owned for a year or longer!

The vet recommended an automatic feeder since our tomcat was getting a little demanding for food. He was gaining weight, so we could not have food freely available for him. If we passed his food container without feeding him, he would sometimes try to strike out at us to get our attention and we would end up getting scratched at times.

So the automatic Feedster seemed the right answer. We like the non-jamming system; we like the fact that you can measure and program the kibble output; we like the battery backup; we also like the large food hopper.

We don't like the difficulty of having the programming buttons and display on the front. It would be easier to program if it were on the top of the unit since it sits on the floor. Our cat has found a way to stick his paw up the chute and chase down stray kibble for a snack. Having kept and raised Fancy Goldfish for 35+ years - Hikari has been a product I've depended on and used in the past without problems. However the formulas have changed - and not for the better.

This forumula is touted as their most advanced yet, but I was concerned about the high percentage of nutrition free filler - and worse that the formula included MSG (monosodium glutamate) A soy based product known to cause migraines and a myriad of other problems in humans and animals alike.

MSG is a flavor enhancer.

What it does is basically fool the brain into perceiving that certain foods taste better than they actually would without the addition of MSG. In fact abundant research concludes it makes otherwise unpalatable food highly palatable.

There are plenty of examples of restaurants, human foods, pet foods and countless products that boldly exclaim - No MSG!

By far this is the most amazing food to feed your goldfish. I have been feeding my goldfish Saki-Hikari Fancy Goldfish color sticks for 2 months and they have already tripled in size. The color of my ryukin is amazing and his hump is so large. He truly looks like he is show quality (and I purchased him from petsmart). My calico ribbon tail and sakuri fantail are brilliant. I use this food along with Omega One goldfish food, peas and gelfood that I made myself, to ensure they are getting a balanced diet. This food is worth the price. I was using pet store food(made of corn) until this arrived. WOW. What a difference! The fish LOVE this food, and they can seem to smell it from across the pond as soon as it touches the water. The small pellets sink relatively quickly, but none of them reached the bottom--the fish just gobbled them all down.

The package is labeled for goldflish "at least 3 cm long"... and that sounds about right. They are tiny, but they still work for my fish who are 1-2 inches long.

Plus, you can't beat the ingredients (color enhancers, pro-biotics, spirulina...) Highly recommended product.
